Learning Objectives

  • To introduce leaders to the transformative power of coach-style conversations which empower and inspire higher levels of performance, engagement and accountability in the workplace
  • To provide experiential practice on coaching skills so that leaders are equipped to implement their learning immediately upon return to the workplace
  • To provide self-reflection on each leader’s vision for success for themselves and for their business
  • To upskill in the key areas of conversation style leadership i.e. listening, questioning, solutioneering, empowering and engaging their workforce thereby increasing retention and sustaining capacity for growth
  • To practice and adapt a recognized coaching conversation framework used by organizations around the globe as a strategic conversation tool which leads to increased performance and results
  • To afford participants time to step back from their day to day pressures and renew, refresh and re-energize
  • To provide an environment where participants can work on real-life business challenges and goals parallel to and integrated with the learning processes they experience during this week so that they leave not only with new learning, but with tangible progress on key business goals or challenges.
  • To provide an exchange of ideas and perspectives with fellow participants from different business environments or geographical locations.
  • To challenge conventional leadership assumptions and identify how better to respond to the changing world of work.

Assessment of Learning

Learning is assessed through in-time practice, observation and reflection. Lead Facilitator Aileen Gibb is licensed by the International Association of Coaching to teach the Nine Coaching Masteries https://certifiedcoach.org/certification-and-development/the-coaching-masteries/#masteries around which this program is designed and against which participants progress is assessed.  Participants may choose to proceed further with IAC coach certification if so desired. All modules are delivered as in-person experiential learning sessions. The Nine Coaching and Leadership Conversation Masteries thread throughout the whole program in a subtle and integrated manner.
